At least we can keep trying

""God has given us our memories that we might have roses in December.""
-J.M. Barrie

I find myself living in the mountains among people that I haven't known long and longing for people that I have known. I've decided to start a blog so that our family can keep in touch with old friends and family that we have all but lost contact with. I have no theme in mind other than sharing funny experiences and just laughing our heads off.

Anyway, I'll leave you with an old but goodie pic of the fam. More to come.

Love,

Amy

Oh, you're lucky I already have an account on Blogspot. I haven't had time to start my own yet, but it's just a matter of time. Here is another blog that I like to frequent on here. Janice is awsome and just joined the church back in February. http://lilpeasinmypodfromgod.blogspot.com/2008/03/my-regulars.html
Good for you doing something new. I learned to play cribbage last night. -Cyndi

Wow, you like wax poetic and stuff...I always knew you were the smart one. I'll post on yours if you post on mine...I miss you. I haven't talked to you in ages. I don't really have much of interest to communicate, but I feel like making you listen to me breath and mumble "um, yah...uh..." anyway while I bore you on the phone. That's what I did for Jenny this afternoon anyway. I'm sure she found the conversation highly interesting and so could you. Glenn asked me for your number the other day since his in-laws are in Heber and according to Glenn you live just blocks from Ryan and he thought you and your mom could get together with them. I lost my cell phone, which has your cell number on it, or I would just call you and ask you for it. By the way, what do you have to do to be privy to your home phone?

P.S. I care what books you read--because someday I'll read the shop-a-holics series too and laugh knowlingly about my own lack of monetary self control (only mine is more pathetically abused with junk food purchases). I think you should just write me in any case. I am going to get the hitchhiker's guide soon. Have you read it yet?

I do care about you and what you read because I love you and I love to read. Today I checked out, "Firefly Lane" by Kristin Hannah, from the library. That being said, since I haven't read it yet, I hope it is a good read, worthy of recommendation. I have been wanting to start a blog for my family to stay in touch and keep up to date on happenings in our family. I'm going to give it a try. I love living in Gem Heights and especially the Gem Heights ward which is the TRUE ward!

I took the book, "Firefly Lane" back to the library. I did not finish it because I didn't like it. Sooooo instead now I am reading "Light of the Moon" by Luanne Rice. A friend told me "Pillar of Fire" by David G. Woolley is very good.
